Firearm Transfers
We can assist you with your transfer needs! Firearms Academy of Wisconsin offers Handgun Transfers, Rifle and Shotgun Transfers, and NFA Transfers.
Handgun Transfers
We are able to transfer handguns to Wisconsin residents only. We are able to ship handguns to a Federal Firearms License from your state of residence.
We also accept transfers from online buying such as Gunbroker.com.
Our transfer fees are $40.00
Rifle and Shotgun Transfers
We are able to transfer rifles and shotguns to most individuals. Federal law requires the transfer to follow your state of resident’s policies. We are unable to transfer any firearms to residents of California. We are able to ship handguns to a Federal Firearms License from your state of residence.
We also accept transfers from online buying such as Gunbroker.com.
Our transfer fees are $40.00
NFA Transfers
We are able to transfer suppressors, short barreled rifles/shotguns, and machineguns, under the National Firearms Act (NFA). This involves more detailed paperwork along with a photo and fingerprints. Each NFA item requires a $200.00 tax stamp to the Federal Government. We have a kiosk from Silencer Shop with the ability to complete the transfer via ATF eForms.
Our NFA transfer fee is $99.00

The NFA Trusts are a one time fee of $350.00 regardless of the amount of NFA items, additions, or changes.
