Membership

The Firearms Academy of Wisconsin manages three separate outdoor handgun and rifle ranges, located on the grounds of the Highlands Sportsmen’s Club, in Cascade, Wisconsin.

The ranges are available seven days a week from May 1st through October 15th.

The highest priority of the Firearms Academy of Wisconsin is the safety of our staff, the surrounding community, Range Members and their Range Guests. Therefore this policy shall be strictly enforced and followed by anyone wishing access to the range areas.

The Firearms Academy of Wisconsin is a membership based, private club who’s members have access to the designated live-fire ranges. The rifle and pistol ranges are not open to the public and are available by appointment only. Cooperation by our Range Members and their Range Guests is required to avoiding any injuries. Strict protocol must be followed due to the nature of a 1,000 yard range. This policy and protocol will be strictly enforced and followed for everyone’s safety and liability.

Access to any of the range areas will require prior scheduling with David Maglio at 414-659-5811 or david.maglio@gmail.com. This policy will eliminate double bookings and and we will have safe impact areas for all rounds fired. A range calendar is available to view for scheduling.

Firearms Academy of Wisconsin will require any member using the range areas to attend a “Safety Orientation” with David Maglio prior to using any of the live-fire range. Range Members and their Range Guests shall receive a copy of the Range Rules and be required to sign “Safety and Liability” waivers at the completion of the Safety Orientation. The Safety Orientation is included with your Range Membership.
